Me and the Hubster

I am TraceyCarol.  I am the wife to the most fabulous husband and the momma to three absolutely beautiful, inside and out, children.  I am the person to a crazy old English sheepdog.  I am a high school librarian in the real world.  I am the lady behind the lens. I am the voice behind My Pinterest Interest and a couple of other blogs. Here's my story.

A little less than a year ago, I began a blog called Tracey Carol * Behind the Lens.  I created that blog for two reasons - 1) to work on my photography skills by taking more and more photos of "stuff" and writing about them and 2) to have just one thing to claim as mine and only mine - taking time out for me, doing something I thought would be fun.

Well, let's just say that I have absolutely loved the blogging world.  I love the photography aspect, I love the writing aspect, I love the connections, I love the techno part... I love the whole mess of it. I have constant ideas playing ring-around-the-roseys in my brain and this new blog, My Pinterest Interests, is one of those.

Since becoming a modest Pinterest user, I see others, who are what I would call pin fanatics, pinning left, pinning right, pinning up, pinning down...  Really, just pinning like a maniac!  I began to think, "I wonder how many of these pinners actually use their electronic file folders, called boards, and the ideas they've filed, or pinned."

That thought is what led to the creation of My Pinterest Interests, a blog about pins on my boards that I've actually tried and their stories of success, failure, or mediocrity.

Who cares? Hopefully, those that want to try the same pins.  Those that can learn from my successes, my failures or my meh.  I hope you enjoy -
